Video Bioinformatics IGERT News - Fall Quarter 2009

We are starting the IGERT program in Video Bioinformatics in the Winter 2010 Quarter. We have selected six IGERT Fellows, three from Engineering and three from Life Sciences. Two IGERT Courses in Video Bioinformatics are being offered in Winter Quarter. These courses are VBI-1: Multi-scale Analysis of Biological Systems (2 units, Instructor Dr. Rodgers), and VBI-1: Colloquium in Video Bioinformatics (1 unit, Instructor Dr. Bhanu). We have submitted seven course proposals for approval by the academic senate.
